About me
Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Denzel Taylor is a theater professional experienced in acting, directing, teaching, playwrighting, and producing. He first studied at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, where he discovered his appreciation for theater and a desire to work in the arts. After graduating in 2018, he immediately dove into fulfilling that desire, gaining credits and experience with several Wisconsin companies, before making a bold move on faith in 2024 to expand his career in Atlanta, Georgia.
Denzel Taylor
"My work centers on invoking open atmospheres and curating long-term reactions rooted in the concept of Productive Play. My desire is for you to laugh and smile, awe and cry, and ponder and discuss, feeling inspired to create your own art and positive contributions to the world."

Professional experience
After embarking my career in theater as an actor and teaching artist, I've gained credits with several notable companies, including Milwaukee Repertory Theater, First Stage Children’s Theater, Black Arts Mke. and more. Over time, I was able to expand further, gaining voiceover work with WUWM Milwaukee’s NPR and teaching the course, “Performance and Collaborative Arts,” with the First Wave Hip Hop and Urban Arts Scholarship Program of UW-Madison. Eventually, I made my official director’s debut in 2023, and since then have directed five productions and even stepped into the role of founder/producer, overseeing the new theater company Nobleman Theater Troupe.
